KOTA BARU: Several major rivers on the east coast rose above the alert level as floods in low-lying areas of Kelantan claimed the first victim – a six-year-old boy who drowned in Kuala Krai.
Rescuers and residents found the body of Muhammad Fawwaz Atiqullah Kamarulnizam around 10.20am yesterday, about 1km from where he is said to have fallen into the river in Kg Peria Baru.
