MELAKA: The supportive role of wives of elected and former elected representatives is an important driving force behind their spouses, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He said interaction among members of welfare bodies, made up of wives of elected and former elected representatives nationwide, could be a morale booster for these spouses.
