KOTA KINABALU: RM50mil will be spent to deepen the Kadamaian river, affected by an earthquake in 2015, in an effort to resolve perennial flooding in Kota Belud.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Yahya Hussin said the allocation was approved after the District Natural Disaster Committee proposed deepening the river as a solution to the problem.
