Ruckus erupts as bloc vote passed

Diverting the truck: Just as Hadi’s bill was about to be debated, it was moved down the list in Parliament’s Order Paper and several other government bills come up for deliberation instead.

A BLOC vote to pass a ministry’s allocation under Budget 2018 at the committee stage in Parliament turned chaotic as it made the cut by a mere one vote.

The vote was called by G. Manivanan (PKR-Kapar) just after Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin finished winding-up.
