Paid paternity leave extension proposed

KUALA LUMPUR: The Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development is advocating extending paid paternity leave for civil servants in the country.

Deputy Minister Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun said that while the current seven days’ paternity leave for civil servants in the country was an increase from the three days enjoyed before 2003, the Ministry was looking into extending it to a month.
