KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pix) was appointed Prasarana Malaysia Bhd (Prasarana) chairman due to his wide experience in safety and security, the Finance Ministry said.
In a written reply in Parliamentary, the Ministry said the former Inspector-General of Police's experience in the force could help in strengthening safety and security in public transportation.
