Volunteers urged to register with Fire Dept

BATU PAHAT: Voluntary fire and rescue groups have been urged to register with the Fire and Rescue Department in order for them to attract more volunteers and improve their operations.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, in making the call, said it does not mean that the Government is taking over the groups’ assets.
