Pairin slams Dr M for raising state rights to gain votes

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) president Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan (pic) slammed Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad over matters related to state rights for Sabah and Sarawak.

Pairin, who was giving what could be his last address to party members at the 32nd annual congress at the Hongkod Koisaan in Penampang here yesterday, said that Dr Mahathir’s view supporting the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) was just a ploy to gain votes for the Opposition.
