And when a gas cylinder exploded in his face during an industrial accident, the first thought that came to air-conditioning technician S. Thirumurugan’s mind was if he would still be able to fulfil his promise to his wife Santhi Vadivel.
Thirumurugan, 32, had promised Santhi, 30, he would help her further her studies so that she could carve out a career as a veterinarian.
