Binary and Indian varsity to offer Tamil Master’s courses


BINARY University of Malaysia and the Madurai Kamaraj University of India will collaborate to offer Master’s courses in Tamil literature, Makkal Osai reported.

The university’s vice-chancellor Professor P.P. Chelladurai and Binary’s founder and executive chairman Prof Datuk Joseph Adai­kalam announced the effort during a signing ceremony on Wednesday. The effort is being undertaken to further strengthen the relationship between the two communities and to improve the teaching of Tamil, they said.
