KL hospitals get RM3mil allocation to set up cath lab

KUALA LUMPUR: The Tung Shin and Chinese Maternity hospitals, which are over a century old, have received a boost with an allocation of RM3mil to set up a cath lab – a centre equipped with the latest angio system for coronary heart disease treatment.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the allocation was aimed at assisting the two hospitals in its efforts to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to the public.
