GEORGE TOWN: Penang Gerakan has urged the state government to review the allocation for flood mitigation projects under Budget 2018 due to their importance following the recent massive floods in Penang.
Its vice-chairman Oh Tong Keong said that while the announcement of the RM100mil allocation for flood victims was welcomed, there was a need to raise the allocation for carrying out flood mitigation projects in the near future.
