KUALA LUMPUR: A former PKR leader has been jailed one month for contempt of court for breaching an injunction order by posting defamatory words against a Hindu temple chairman on social media and giving misleading testimony.
High Court judge Justice S. Nantha Balan held that S. Murali, 49, was guilty of misleading the court by way of an affidavit. The custodial sentence of the former PKR Puchong division chief took effect yesterday.
