KOTA BARU: West Field Army Commander Lt Gen Datuk Azizan Md Delin heads the list of 624 award recipients in conjunction with Sultan Muhammad V’s 48th birthday today.
Azizan, a defence and security expert, was the sole recipient of Ahli yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) for Darjah Kebesaran Kesatria Mahkota Kelantan yang Amat Perkasa (SPKK) award that carries the title Datuk.Of the 39 Datukships conferred, one-third were given to armed forces personnel (eight awards) and the police (five).
