ALOR SETAR: Zinc roofs were blown away and trees uprooted after strong winds and heavy rain struck two villages in Pendang district on Friday.
Pendang Civil Defence Force operations officer Sarjan Zulkifli Man said at least 11 houses and a car were damaged in Kampong Alor Ali and Kampung Rambai following heavy rains that lasted 15 minutes.
