College student drowns at waterfall

ALOR SETAR: An 18-year-old college student was found drowned at the Hutan Lipur Puncak Janing waterfall in Kuala Nerang.

The deceased, identified as Muhammad Munir Abdul Rashid, is said to have gone for a swim with six other friends from Kuala Nerang Community College at about 4.30pm on Wednesday (Nov 8).
