SPM exams start for 34,672 candidates in Kedah

ALOR SETAR: A total 34,672 candidates in Kedah are sitting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination this year, amid floods that have hit certain parts of the state.

State education, transport and non-governmental organisations committee chairman Datuk Tajul Urus Mat Zain said 627 candidates are sitting for their SPM exams at two schools affected by flood, namely SMK Bedong and SMK Datuk Bijaya Setia ini Sungai Petani.
