Fuel prices up 4 sen for first week of November

PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices are up across the board for the first week of November, with an increase of four sen per litre for petrol and diesel.

RON95 will be priced at RM2.24 per litre, while RON97 will retail at RM2.54 per litre.

Meanwhile, diesel will go up by 4 sen as well to RM2.17 per litre from RM2.13.

The new prices were announced on RTM1 on Wednesday (Nov 1) evening and will be in effect from 12.01am on Nov 2 to Nov 8.

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect in April this year and the prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
