No review in pay but civil servants welcome other perks

DESPITE there being no review in pay or allowances, Budget 2018 helps improve a civil servant’s career in the long run, said Datuk Azih Muda, president of Cuepacs, which represents 1.62 million members.

“Although there is no increase in our pay scale, allowances or review as we requested, we are still grateful for other measures that will protect us in the long term,” he said in a statement.
