Johari: Highway concessionaires to be compensated via tenure extension

KUALA LUMPUR: The government may need to extend the tenure of existing tolls in order to abolish the four tolls that were announced in the newly-unveiled Budget 2018.

Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani said the government may not have to fork out a single sen to implement the exercise as it will not directly compensate the highway concessionaires involved.
