PETALING JAYA: As a token of appreciation for the 1.6 million civil servants nationwide, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced several increased benefits for the group in his Budget 2018 speech.
In his speech delivered in Parliament on Friday, the Prime Minister introduced a second time-based promotion for supporting staff, which applies after 13 years from the first promotion.
