IPOH: Schools are places to teach an understanding of different cultures, respect for each other’s religion and promote patriotism and loyalty towards the King and country, said Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah.
Citing an example of SMJK Sam Tet here, Sultan Nazrin said despite the majority of students and teachers being Chinese, the non-Chinese population in the school was significant.
