Amanah passes resolution to appoint Anwar as PM

ALOR SETAR: Parti Amanah Nega­ra (Amanah) has endorsed a resolution to appoint jailed Pakatan Harapan de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as prime minister, if the opposition captures Putrajaya in the general election.

The resolution, approved by 898 delegates without debate, was proposed by the Johor Amanah division during Amanah’s National Con­­vention here.
