Seven held after drunken brawl in budget hotel


GEORGE TOWN: Police kicked down the doors of five rooms in a budget hotel to nab seven men who were creating a ruckus at a restaurant in Jalan Datuk Keramat here.

OCPD Asst Comm Anuar Omar said they initially thought there were weapons involved but it turned out to be a drunken brawl by the suspects, who have since been remanded.
