JOHOR BARU: A policeman from the Segamat district police headquarters has been removed from its patrol unit following a viral photo of him being “friendly” with a woman dressed in short pants and a singlet.

State police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd said the policeman has been removed from the unit with immediate effect.

“However, investigations are ongoing,” he said when contacted Monday.

The incident follows after seven policemen filmed at a nightclub in Muar were transferred to other departments.
