Large crowd turns up at Anthony’s remand hearing

KOTA KINABALU: A large crowd of supporters turned up to give moral support to Parti Warisan Sabah vice-president Datuk Peter Anthony, who is at the centre of an investigation involving the alleged siphoning of more than RM1.5bil from rural project funds in Sabah.

Anthony, 46, dressed in orange Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) overalls, raised his handcuffed hands as he came out of the MACC vehicle to greet his supporters who were shouting: “We are with you, Datuk.”
