MIRI: Two schools and a clinic in the interior of northern Sarawak have been under about two feet (0.6m) of water due to bad weather.
The schools, SK Long Bemang and SK Benawa, as well as the Klinik Long Bemang are in the Baram district.
About 200 school kids and teachers are affected while the paths to the clinic are inaccessible for now.
Fire and Rescue personnel at the site reported that rivers there are still rising as of Wednesday morning.
The interior of northern Sarawak has been seeing heavy rain which began in late September.
