Nine arrested at protest against demolition of houses in Subang

17 people were chased away during the demolition and were now without a place to stay.

PETALING JAYA: Nine people were arrested during a protest to stop three houses and two shoplots from being demolished near the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah airport in Subang on Wednesday.

Among them were five Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) members, including PSM secretary-general A Sivarajan and PSM Youth chief Khalid Ismath. The others were four villagers.
