GEORGE TOWN: A late 19th century rare Baba Nyonya kamcheng (covered jar) is set to attract collectors from around the world when it goes up for auction soon.
The delicate chinaware – used to store dry foodstuff and pickles in wealthy Peranakan households – is among 70 antique pieces going under the hammer at the 30th International Baba Nyonya Convention.
