Weak earthquake detected in Tongod, Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR: A weak earthquake, measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale, was detected 35km northeast of Tongod, Sabah, at 8.25 am Sunday.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department, in a statement Sunday, said the quake could probably be felt in areas surrounding Tongod and Beluran, Sabah.
