TAIPING: A 17-year-old youth was among seven charged at a magistrate’s court here with kidnapping a schoolboy in a RM3mil ransom bid.
When the seven – S. Ramesh, 21; S. Elangovan, 29; P. Thiban, 20; H. Gobinath, 36; Saravanan, 33; S. Simon Lazarus, 22; and the juvenile – were brought to the court at about 2.45pm yesterday, the victim’s father was heard screaming at the accused in Tamil.
