Wan Azizah: Tahfiz fire indicative of a domestic drug crisis

PETALING JAYA: The deadly Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah tahfiz fire that was a revenge attack by seven teenagers shows that there a growing domestic drug crisis that needs to be addressed immediately, says Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

In a statement Thursday, The PKR president called for the Home Ministry to invite party representatives, non-governmental organisations, and other relevant parties to discuss drug abuse problems in the country that she claimed was the cause of rising crime.
