Najib welcomes Mat Taib back into Umno

PETALING JAYA: Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has welcomed former Umno vice-president Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib back to the fold and said that he is expecting great things from the ex-Selangor mentri besar.

"I am pleased to announce that Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib has returned to Umno. He is aware that the Opposition struggle namely PKR is in vain," tweeted Najib on Sunday, moments after the press conference announcing Muhammad Taib's return to Umno.
