JUST days after its official launch at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, a counterfeit version of the iPhone X is being sold for 800 yuan (RM513) in Shenzen, China, reported Sin Chew Daily.

The design of the counterfeit smartphone bore some similarities to the iPhone X, such as not having a home button.

However, the counterfeit’s bronze finish was different from that of the original, which is only available in gold, silver and space grey.

Apple chief executive officer Tim Cook launched the iPhone X along with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in a ceremony on Tuesday amidst much anticipation.
