NANNING: The post office's traditional role may not be as significant as it once was, but it can take up a more relevant role in today's digital age and help to boost the Malaysian e-commerce industry, says Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan (pic).

"People don't send letters nowadays, so we can transform the post office into a logistic hub to assist the development of e-commerce, a new online shopping trend," the International Trade and Industry Minister II said after the opening of the China-Asean e-Commerce Summit, held in conjunction with the 14th China-Asean Expo here on Tuesday.
