WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who is here at the invitation of President Donald Trump, said Malaysia is not asking for money from the United States.
"I am here to show Malaysia is an important country to the US.
"We bring to the table a great deal of value propositions.
"We are not here to ask for money from the US.
"We come here as a rising country that is successful and growing and determined to succeed to the ranks of the top 20 nations of the world in 2050," Najib said when addressing Malaysians living in the US at a dinner hosted by the Malaysian embassy here.
The Prime Minister is meeting Trump at the White House on Tuesday.
