One of the pioneers of Malaysian film was P. Ramlee, arguably the most influential local filmmaker of all time who churned out many hits in the late 50s and 60s.

One of the pioneers of Malaysian film was Tan Sri P. Ramlee, arguably the most influential local filmmaker of all time. P. Ramlee churned out hit after hit, from the Bujang Lapok series and Nujum Pak Belalang in the late 1950s to the Labu Dan Labi features and Tiga Abdul in the 60s.
