Croc attacks fisherman who suffered broken ribs and lungs

KOTA KINABALU: A fisherman had a close brush with death when a crocodile attacked him at Banggi Island, off Sabah’s northern Kudat district.

Nursahim Nusiri, 40, who suffered broken ribs and punctured lungs, was on his usual fishing rounds at about 9pm on Tuesday when a mid-sized reptile attacked him from behind.
