Booze and ciggy smuggler caught with RM110K in cash

KOTA KINABALU: A suspected smuggler was caught with RM110,600 cash when state Customs officers seized over RM300,000 worth of contraband cigarettes and hard liquor.  

The cash, 1,803 cartons of various cigarette brands and 25 bottles of liquor were found in a room of a house at Taman Soon Kiong here, Sabah Customs director Datuk Janathan Kandok told a press conference Monday.
