GEORGE TOWN: The state government has spent more than 77% of the RM3.077bil development fund on mainland rural areas since 2008, said Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.
In responding to claims that Pakatan Harapan would neglect rural development, he said the remaining 23% of RM698mil was used to develop the island, proving that the state strived for balanced development.
