KUALA LUMPUR: The Cabinet has approved a group insurance scheme for 265,000 village committee members as well as a discount card for them.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the Cabinet has approved the scheme proposed by the Rural and Regional Development Ministry last week for the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK), Federal Village Development and Security Committee (JKKKP) and JKKK orang asli.
