MACC arrests retired Kedah JKR engineer (corrected)

ALOR SETAR: A retired assistant engineer from the Kedah Public Works Department (JKR) was arrested on Tuesday by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for money laundering and possessing RM1,113,250 believed to have been obtained from illegal activities.

State MACC director Datuk Mohd Fauzi Mohamad said the 56-year-old man was arrested at the Commission's office here after he was called in for questioning.
