A couple that buys syabu together, gets busted together

KOTA KINABALU: A couple, believed to be attempting to buy syabu, was arrested with their suspected pusher who was carrying about 251g of the synthetic drug.

City police chief Asst Comm M Chandra said the 28-year-old man and his 30-year-old girlfriend, as well as the 23-year-old suspected pusher, have been detained under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act that carries the mandatory death penalty upon conviction.
