DPM: Poca cuts gang-related crime

PUTRAJAYA: Violent gang-related crimes are under control thanks to the Prevention of Crime Act (Poca), said Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that since the Act was reinforced in 2014, shootings, extortion and murder cases – crimes usually asso­ciated with gangs and secret societies – have gone down.
