Villagers capture 300kg croc


Huge catch: Miri Civil Defence members pulling in the crocodile after capturing it alive at Kampung Labau Sibuti, 60km south of Miri.

MIRI: A large crocodile measuring about 5.5m and weighing about 300kg was captured alive by villagers of Kg Labau, Sibuti in northern Sarawak.

The crocodile was found along the banks of a river and the villagers managed to catch it with the help of Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) personnel before it was ferried to a crocodile farm on Saturday evening.
