Future public housing projects to get funeral halls


KUALA LUMPUR: Future federal housing developments in the city will have funeral halls for non-Muslims to hold wakes, said Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.

He said projects like the Federal Territories Housing Scheme (Ruma­wip) and those undertaken by Kuala Lumpur City Hall would have a surau for Muslims as well as a dedicated space for those of other faiths.
