The cost of insuring Malaysia
1MALAYSIA Development Berhad (1MDB) has paid company tax totalling RM671.137mil since 2013, the Dewan Rakyat was told.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the company and its fully-owned subsidiaries received income tax exemption, including dividend, for a period of 10 years from 2010 in line with Section 127 (3A) of the Income Tax Act 1967.
