A MAN grew so frustrated with his wife’s addiction to cosmetic surgery that he lodged a police report just to stop her from changing her face further, reported China Press.
The man from Nanjing in Jiangsu province, China, lodged the report last Monday after the wife came home from work with a swollen face covered in gauze.
The man, known only as Wu, was at first worried for his wife’s health, thinking that she had injured herself, but became angry when she told him that she had undergone yet another surgical procedure, and that he could expect to see a prettier wife in two days.
The man said he had had enough of his wife’s plastic surgeries over the past few years, to the point that he could no longer recognise her.
He also resorted to calling the local police 18 times on Tuesday, alleging that the beauty centre that carried out the procedure on his wife was using harmful products.
However, when the police investigated and found out the truth, the man was told off for wasting the officers’ time.
> Oriental Daily reported that Hong Kong Cantopop celebrity Alan Tam Wing Lun’s son, Hiu Fung, recently received his Masters in Engineering from Oxford University.
Having always kept his 21-year-old son away from the media spotlight, the 67-year-old veteran musician posted pictures of him and close friends attending the junior’s convocation ceremony in Britain.
Hiu Fung is his only son, by his mistress Wendy Chu.
Tam sought permission from his wife Sally Yeung, who is in poor health and childless, to be with Chu.
He is said to be so good at handling his two households that the two women never argue.
