Govt urged to do more to push digital economy

IPOH: The Government should offer new incentives, reduce red tape and optimise the work environment to attract the best talent to help push development of the digital economy and e-commerce, said business community leader Datuk Ter Leong Yap.

In his keynote address to open an economic conference organised by the youth committee of the Associa­ted Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia, the ACCCIM president said Malaysia must also nurture a talent pool that is well-versed in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
