Reveal expenses incurred for award presentation, Penang govt urged

GEORGE TOWN: Barisan Nasional has called for an independent committee to probe the vanity awards fiasco involving Penang’s two local councils.

In a statement yesterday, Penang Barisan Youth chief H’ng Chee Wey said the state government should do so as its reputation was at stake following adverse media reports.
